1 John 1:8-9 (NIV): “8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

How Can I Let God Heal Me?

All believers struggle with sin, and honesty is essential for a right relationship with God. When we own up to our sin, we stop making excuses for it. God can meet us with grace, forgiveness, and cleansing because of Jesus’ sacrifice. This is not a one-time thing, but an essential piece of an ongoing relationship with God. We can’t hide anything from Him.

God is faithful and always keeps His promises, so we can trust in His forgiveness.

Now Let's Pray

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for the ongoing forgiveness and purification we receive through Christ. Lead us to a heart posture that rejoices in the confession of sin, as we are wiped clean and brought closer to holiness when we are honest with You. Thank You for your renewed grace and mercy every morning, and for catching us when we fall.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
