Zechariah 4:10 NIV: "Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel? These seven are the eyes of the Lord, and they range throughout the earth."
What is God’s Grand Plan for My Life?
Picture this: God is leaning over the balcony of heaven clapping His hands watching you take your first step in what will ultimately fulfill His divine purpose for your life. Oftentimes, our flesh will frown upon small beginnings as we crave instant gratification and success. In this passage, Zerubbabel holds the final stone used in the completion of the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. He was chosen by God to lead this rebuild, and the all-seeing Lord rejoices in this small step of completion that is apart of His much greater plan.
Now Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father thank You for Your support and guidance that may lead us to discover Your greater purpose for our lives. I pray courage and perseverance into our hearts as we die to our flesh and rejoice in the small wins. Thank You for knowing us all by name and assigning us a purpose before we even stepped foot on this earth. Please align our will with Yours and continue to redirect us when we stray from Your path.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
