Jesus Encourages Us to Call on Him

Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV): “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

How Can We Get Answers From God?

Revelation comes through pursuit. There are aspects of our life, calling, and purpose that can’t be learned through knowledge or experience alone, but are revealed through prayer and relationship with God. Rather than issuing commands, God invites us into dialogue as He encourages us to “call to” Him, and He promises a response. Like a city locked behind walls (33:4), these are truths and plans that God has for you that are not discoverable through normal means. God represents hope in times of despair, and He will provide revelation through consistent prayer and petition.

Now Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for Your eternal promises that You never break. We are blessed for the ability to pursue a relationship with You through prayer and worship. Remind us to pursue You during times of both struggle and appreciation, and reveal to us great and unsearchable treasures.
