Joshua 1:9 (NIV): "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

How Does God Carry Me Into New Seasons?

God ordains Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land after Moses’ death. God directly calls Joshua to step into this season of leadership, and authorizes him with divine backing. He tells him to stand strong in conviction, and be brave and determined in this new season. Joshua’s courage is not the absence of fear, but the refusal to let fear guide his path. Fear and discouragement are natural human responses, such as “what if I fail?” or “this is too hard.”, which is why God names them directly. Joshua’s authority and strength don’t lie in what he knows, but who walks with him. God is intimately involved in our seasons, guiding and empowering us every step of the way.

God has called you, He has equipped you, now step forward - not in your own strength but in His.

Now Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for Your continued presence that surrounds us in every season. We acknowledge the existence of our fear, but we rebuke its power to separate us from our divine purpose and calling. Please equip us with boldness, bravery, and faith to trust You as we step into new beginnings. Continue to remind us of Your constant presence and carry us with Your strength and kingdom inheritance.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
