Psalm 139:13-16 (NIV): 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well… 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Does My Life Really Have Purpose Before I’m Even Born?

God is a craftsman, He created each and every one of us with intention and love in the presence of His holiness. From our physical body to our soul, emotions, personality, and uniqueness, the Lord delights in His creations. We are to praise God as we were created in awe and reverence, from a viewpoint of extraordinary beauty, complexity, and immeasurable worth.

Even before we live a single day, God has full knowledge and sovereignty of our entire future. Each of our lives has had a significant purpose and meaning since before we were even formed.

Now Let's Pray

Dear Heavenly Father thank You for the immeasurable love we receive from You everyday. You know each of us by name, and carefully knit us together from the tips of our fingers to the depths of our souls. I pray that You continue to reveal our divine callings to us in Your timing. Imprint self-love and self-worth on our hearts and allow us to see ourselves through Your perspective.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
