Ephesians 6:18 (NIV): "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."
What is The Holy Spirit, and How Can I Rely on Him?
Here we are encouraged to let the Holy Spirit guide our prayer through our words, heart, and focus. It’s about being sensitive to where God is leading your prayer and surrendering to Him. We are gifted the authority to pray through all situations and settings. God loves diversity of prayer; there is nothing too grand for Him, and He is never too busy for His children. We must be alert that spiritual warfare is constantly present in our lives and the lives of our brothers and sisters. It is crucial to always be praying for others. We are one unified body in Christ, and when one of us is being attacked by the enemy, we all are.
Now Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father thank You for hearing all of our prayers. I ask that you continue to merge our will with Yours, and that You encourage deep sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s guidance as our prayers develop. Thank You for the gift of the church; through this community we can come together, fully armored, and rebuke the enemy as one.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
